If you experience a problem running the Fujitsu restore media or starting the computer with any, in that the Fujitsu does not seem to boot to it, check the Boot device priority in BIOS. There maybe a bang (exclamation mark) beside the device indicating that the device is disabled.
Enable the storage or optical device in the BIOS:
1. Start the computer and press the F2 key at the Fujitsu logo
2. Once in the BIOS use the Right Arrow key to highlight the Boot menu
3. Use the Down arrow key to highlight Boot Device priority and press Enter
4. Use the Arrow keys to navigate to the device with the bang (explanation mark) and press Shift and 1 to enable it
5. Once enabled use the Space bar to make sure the boot devices list is in the order you want
6. Press the F10 key to save configuration changes and exit
7. The computer will now boot to the required device as long as the media being used is bootable
Some older Lifebook/Tablets that do not have a Boot heading in the BIOS will have the Boot Device Priority on the Main tab. The devices can still enabled and disabled but will not have a explanation mark. They will say "Not installed" or "None" beside the device listed.
