Keyboard Typing Incorrect Characters

Follow these steps to troubleshoot sticky keys:

1. Could anything have possibly been spilt on the keyboard to cause the keys to react this way?

• If Yes, a billable repair is more than likely needed.
• If No, please proceed with #2.

2. Check for sticky keys settings in control panel (Accessibility Options) and turn it off if necessary.

3. Is the keyboard still acting strange and not typing correctly?

• If Yes, check Regional Settings in Control Panel and make sure that keyboard language is US.
• If No, issue resolved.

4. Is keyboard still having the same problems?

• If Yes, try typing in multiple programs to see if you get the same result (Notepad, Wordpad, Works, Word, Excel, MS DOS Prompt).
