Keyboard Not Responding

Follow these steps for general keyboard troubleshooting:

1. Turn off system and restart it normally.

2. Is the keyboard still not responding?

• If Yes - Turn off system, try booting to BIOS and check whether keyboard is responding in BIOS
• If No - Issue Resolved

3. Is the keyboard responding in BIOS?

• If Yes - Boot to Safe Mode and check whether keyboard is responding. 
• If No - Do Recovery and if the keyboard is still not responding then notebook needs to be sent in for repair. Contact Fujitsu Lifebook Technical Support at 1-800-8FUJITSU (1-800-838-5487) for further assistance.

4. Is the keyboard responding?

• If Yes - disable all startup programs and restart system.
• If No - the  notebook needs to be send in for repair for evaluation.

5. If keyboard is still not responding after restart, the issue is more than likely hardware related and needs to be sent in for repair. Please contact Fujitsu Technical Support at 800-8FUJITSU (1-800-838-5487) for more assistance.
