Follow these general troubleshooting steps if you encounter a no video issue:
1. Does the power LED stay on when the power button is first pressed?
- If yes, do you eventually hear a Windows start up sound? (If you do not, the system actually has a no POST issue).
- If no, the issue needs to be treated as a power issue.
- If yes, attach the external monitor. (pressing Fn + F10 to cycle between video may be required). If the external monitor shows video the driver/video card is likely not the problem. The system will likely need to be repaired for a possible LCD/LCD Cable issue.
