1. Check to see if the issue occurs in the BIOS (to access the BIOS, press F2 once you see the Fujitsu logo).
2. Most LifeBook keyboards have a Function key that controls brightness (one for down F6 and one for up F7). Press Fn + Brightness Function Key down F6 and Brightness Function Key up F7 simultaneously to see if the brightness is affected.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
1. Connect an external monitor to the system.
2. With the external monitor connected, press the Function key + Video Cycle button F10 simultaneously. If video appears on the external monitor, the issue has been narrowed down to the LCD on the system and the LCD needs to be repaired.
