The computer and keyboard recognize each other with a keyboard ID key. When multiple keyboards are used there can be a mismatch between the ID the computer expects and the current keyboard
Reinitialize the computer/keyboard connection by performing one of the methods listed below:
1. Use a key combination to reset the keyboard: (Press these keys in order, not all-at-once). Press and hold [Fn] + [LeftAlt] + [LeftShift] + [7]
2. Suspend/Resume the computer. In some cases, this will reset the computer's KB ID to the default, allowing it to recognize a new keyboard.
3. Remove the keyboard's battery. This will reset the keyboard's ID to the default, allowing a computer to recognize it.
If the keyboard is still not recognized, turn the computer off, unplug the AC and remove the battery for 30 seconds. Restart the computer when complete.
