The informational error message will occur during any of the following: when rotating the computer to tablet mode while playing a music CD, watching a DVD, or installing software from a disc in the drive. The error will also occur if the program reading the CD/DVD is still open when the computer is switched to tablet mode (Example: When playing a music CD in Windows Media Player if the CD is stopped and Windows Media Player is still open when the computer is switched to tablet mode, the error message will display. Close Windows Media Player.)
Locking the drive in tablet mode is the default behavior of the system. Locking protects the drive and media from damage.
Unlocking/using the drive in tablet mode is not recommended but can be done at the user's risk:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Fujitsu Display Controls or Fujitsu Tablet Controls
3. Select tab CD\DVD
4. Uncheck Lock this device when in tablet mode
5. Click button OK
6. Setting is saved
